The brave Pinoy  fighter who never stops aiming of becoming a champion for the fifth time finally captures the WBC Light Flyweight crown as he vanquished the throne Mexican Edgar Sosa in a 2nd-round stoppage  at the Palengue de la Feria in Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, Mexico.

 Mayol has now improved his record to 26 wins (KO 20), 4 losses , and 1 draw.
